Ed Steigerwaldt recently appeared before the Natural Resources Board of Wisconsin to speak in favor of the 45,000-acre Forest Legacy easement purchased by the state of Wisconsin from Lyme St. Croix Forest Company.

As forestland managers for Lyme St. Croix, Steigerwaldt Land Services supported the easement because it keeps the land open to the public, prevents forest parcelization, creates jobs for the forest industry, and ensures the land is managed under a working forest easement.
