It is with great enthusiasm that we announce the opening of Steigerwaldt Land Services’ new office in Marquette, Michigan. After 58 years of providing forestry and real estate consulting services out of Wisconsin, we are expanding our business into Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to better serve our clients. With our new Marquette location, we will continue to provide the reliable, high-quality forestry, real estate brokerage, appraisal, right-of-way, surveying, and GIS mapping services that we are known for.
Our new location will allow us to collaborate more extensively with our partner Justin Miller and staff of U.P.-based Green Timber Consulting Foresters, Inc. Together, Steigerwaldt and Green Timber provide cost-effective forest management and inventory services that benefit a range of clients, including investment firms, utilities, and public and private landowners.
This office will enable us to better serve our clients in the energy and transportation sector with project management, right-of-way acquisitions, eminent domain appraisals, real estate appraisals, GIS mapping and database creation, and land surveying services. With an in-house team of three Michigan Certified General Appraisers, along with our bench of seven skilled appraisal assistants, we have the depth and knowledge to successfully complete projects large and small.
Supervising our Marquette office will be Annie Maina, who has successfully overseen our business operations out of Hayward, Wisconsin, since 2009. Annie will be joined by Staff Forester and Michigan Representative Lauren Rusin, a Michigan Tech graduate with experience in timber inventory and management. Real estate brokers, wetland delineators, tree disease experts, and environmental consultants will also be on hand to provide additional services.
