Lee Steigerwaldt was recently featured in an article highlighting women in the forestry profession, published by the Association of Consulting Foresters of America (ACF).
The article states that women make up a minority of ACF’s membership (approximately 12 out of 650 members), but they are well-suited to the consulting forestry business: “Independent, hardworking, and not afraid of risk, these women relish the variety and challenges of consulting work, whether it’s dealing with landowners or keeping up with latest tax laws that affect clients, or finding markets for their timber.”
