Experience

GIS Project Manager: Recent projects include a wide variety of GIS applications, such as natural resource, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Exhibits, and parcel mapping. Previous projects included forestry, soils, contours, and parcels from various private and government clients, as well as nautical charts and Joint Operation Graphics (JOGS) from the National Imagery and Mapping Agency.

Forest Inventory/Mapping: Responsible for mapping and GIS layer development for forest inventory and mapping projects. Experience includes extensive GIS updates and WISFIRS data editing and entry for compartment recon on the county forestland, as well as GIS conversion and master table updates for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources state properties (Menard Island Resource Area, Ackley, Peters Marsh, and Bill Cross Wildlife Areas; the Pine-Popple Wild Rivers, and the Spread Eagle Barrens Natural Resource Area, 2007). Past projects also include forest cover GIS development for the Langlade, Vilas, Marinette, Florence, and Forest County Forests.

GIS Programmer and Analyst: Programmed Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) AML language to facilitate projects in-house and for clients. Also used ArcMap and Arc/Info for GIS problem solving, including overlaying and buffering to produce final reports and hard copy maps.

System Administrator: Responsible for hardware and software installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for PC platforms.

Software Sales: Responsible for software sales of a variety of ESRI products including ArcMap and ArcPad.

Software Training: Responsible for ArcMap training for new employees at Steigerwaldt Land Services and other clients.

911 Emergency System Data Researcher: Compiled the names and locations of residents, entered the information into a database for use in the 911 system, and completed rural addressing using PC Arc/Info for county use.
