Senior Land Surveyor

Emily serves as a professional land surveyor licensed by the State of Wisconsin. She is responsible for assisting with the business management of the land surveying operations, which includes serving as a high level crew leader, project management, promotion of services, primary contact lead, and meeting all client expectations while seeing a project through all aspects, start to finish.

Emily’s duties also include project research, field work, data analysis, and drafting of all mapping products and land descriptions. She assists with project tracking and direction of administrative staff regarding document preparation and client correspondence. She specializes in consulting with clients regarding regulatory issues pertaining to their project and has an extensive knowledge of local ordinances. She works regularly with government zoning personnel to help guide clients with their project needs. She has an extensive experience with subdividing sections, the re-establishment of the US Public Land Survey System corners. She works well with project management and coordination to ensure that timelines and expectations are exceeded, and quality standards are met.

Emily served as the President of the Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors in 2016 and remains an active member on their Board of Directors. She is also in tune with the actions of the National Society of Land Surveyors, serving as a representative of the surveyors of Wisconsin on their Board of Directors. She is also active with the Geospatial Committee and the Ethics and Standards of Practice Committee at the state level, and she chairs the Workforce Development Committee at the national level.

Emily holds an Associates Degree in Science, specializing in Land Surveying from Nicolet College. She also acquired additional certificates as a Certified Survey Technician. She holds a Professional Land Surveyor’s license and certification as a Certified Federal Surveyor.

In her spare time, Emily enjoys coaching volleyball for the local high school and youth club programs. She is also active with the youth softball program and loves to watch her two daughters play every chance they get. She and her husband also enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors with their family.
